Signs You May Need a Tooth Removed

Our Approach to Tooth Extraction
If you decide to have your tooth removed, we will perform the following steps to give you the top quality care you expect and deserve:
- We will fully numb the area around the affected tooth to keep you comfortable during the extraction.
- An incision will be made in the gums to allow removal of the tooth.
- Dr. Thompson will gently rock the tooth back and forth to loosen it and remove it from the socket.
- The socket will be cleaned and gauze will be placed over the extraction site.
- Instructions for post extraction care will be provided before you leave the office.
